I saw this inspiration board and it made me think of that Sting song “Fields of Gold” I think this could be a wonderful board for a spring or summer wedding with a prairie chic feel. When I say prairie chic I think of large open spaces filled with soft light and bouquets of wildflowers held by girls in big sweeping skirts…oh that could be just so beautiful!

Since it has been so cold here in Connecticut this past week or so I have been spending a lot of time thinking about spring and wonderful spring weddings. Today I thought I would spend some time showing off some wonderful green colored weddings. Just like I promised, today I am showing off more of our great new wedding favors from the Whispering Pines Wedding Favor Collection.

Since these new favors were unveiled yesterday I have been counting down until I could share them with you. I think this is some of the best wedding favors we have ever offered here on Whispering Pines. You can check out the entire Whispering Pines Wedding Favors Collection or check out the individual items below. Hope you all like the new favors as much as I do.
First up is our Wooden Sailboats they make the best little favor for a nautical or summertime wedding. Here is also something you could do with these little guys, have your calligrapher or a talented friend or family member use a paint pen to write a name on the side of the boat.
Next up is the very cute and trendy Mini Chalkboards these cute little guys could look great at a garden or outdoor wedding. There is so many different things that you could do with these, you could place them on a place card table just flat or you can hot glue them to a wooden stake like in the picture for a garden feel.
The last one that I will show off today (I will show off more tomorrow) is the Adirondack Place Card Holder these make just the right statement at any wedding but would great if you were getting married in the summer close to lake.

So as we talked about yesterday one of the trends we are seeing right now is the long tables at wedding instead of the traditional round ones… another trend we are seeing is the use of burlap fabric on those long tables. I have seen these used a runners or full on table cloths. What is great about this fabric is that it lets you use your creative genius in so many ways and helps to provide a rustic canvas for your tables.

How amazing does this table look? I love the little pop of color that comes from the flowers. I think this pop of color works so well because the table is a more neutral color pallet. I also love the large number of small arrangements all at different heights down a long table, I did something similar at my own wedding and it looked great!
