I love this orange board that I put together- I think it would work well in the fall or in the spring. I love the use of our Antique Lanterns and how cute is that honey favor! Coming soon to WP we will be featuring honey favors just like these.

Coloring Outside The Lines
October 20, '09 by Maggie Lord
Since so much of my time is spent in the world of rustic weddings I often find that the color schemes that brides go with when planning a rustic or barn wedding is centered around browns, greens, or other neutral tones. All of those color themes are great but when I came across this barn wedding which used the color pink, I just knew I had to show it to all of you. This is a great example of how to have a rustic chic wedding without staying inside the color lines!

A Backyard Wedding
October 15, '09 by Maggie Lord
I made this inspiration board yesterday with the idea of how wonderful a small backyard wedding could be. For a more intimate weddings why not choose your backyard or a family members house for your wedding venue- it could be just the perfect spot.

Outdoor Dining
October 13, '09 by Maggie Lord
I made this wonderful board today at the circle over at Style Me Pretty. I really felt like I wanted to show off just how great eating dinner outside can look. I love the natural colors in this board- its all about the browns and creams (my favorite!). How much do you love the way the flowers are displayed in the galvanized buckets.

Real Wedding: Virginia Beach
October 07, '09 by Maggie Lord
Today’s real wedding took place in Virginia Beach and it really has such a WP feel about it.
I love, love, love the wood chairs at this wedding, what a great way to have a rustic wedding but keep the wedding elegant.
This kissing shot of the bride and groom maybe one the of best I have ever seen, how breathtaking is it with the pine trees behind them. I also really like the relaxed look of the guys outfits is in-keeping with the Virginia Beach location but look great.
What can I say, long tables always look great and this cake is a winner too!

Bright White
October 06, '09 by Maggie Lord
Look at this amazing wedding which uses almost all white as their decor. Using white is the best way to keep with that blank canvas look and feel and let the flowers, objects and wedding speak for itself. The small touch of color comes in the brown touches which is great since it is not too overpowering and it does not have too much pop. And once again check out the flowers, we here at WP are starting to see a trend in hydrangea flowers.

Thank You
October 05, '09 by Maggie Lord
Since I am currently working on creating my own thank you notes for my wedding I thought I would show off some fun and cute ways to thank your guest for gifts and sharing in your big day. I love the ones where the bride and groom hold up a thank you sign, I was planning on doing this at my wedding but as the day went on I forgot to get this picture done.
